The Panorama test can provide you with extra reassurance during pregnancy. Many receive their test results before the nuchal translucency scan at the hospital. Knowing there is a low risk of chromosomal abnormalities can bring peace of mind. The test is available in both basic and extended versions.

The Panorama test is ideal if you’re expecting twins, as it’s the only test on the market that can reveal the sex of both babies. It can also determine whether the twins are identical or fraternal.

You’ll receive thorough guidance over the phone before the scan, so you can choose the type of NIPT that best suits you. The fetus will be carefully scanned to check for any developmental abnormalities that can be detected at this stage of pregnancy. What can be seen depends on how far along you are. The scan is performed by our sonographer or doctor.
The test can provide information about various chromosomal abnormalities, including trisomies such as Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome, and Patau syndrome, as well as triploidy. It can also identify sex chromosome abnormalities such as Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, Triple X, and XYY.
With the extended test, it’s also possible to screen for selected microdeletions, such as DiGeorge, Angelman, Prader-Willi, 1p36 deletion, and Cri-du-Chat syndrome. The test can also reveal the baby’s sex if you wish.
You’ll receive black-and-white images, as well as photos and video clips sent to your phone via a QR code. In addition, you’ll get a report with the baby’s measurements and a blood test result.
If you or the baby’s father carry a chromosomal abnormality. If the nuchal translucency scan shows a measurement greater than 3.5 mm. If the risk for Down syndrome from the nuchal translucency scan and Double Test is higher than 1:10. If you’re pregnant with twins conceived via donor eggs. If you’re pregnant with a vanished twin (in this case, please call the clinic).
The blood contains DNA from both you and your baby. The fetal DNA must make up at least 4% to obtain a result. About 1–2% of those taking the test will need a repeat sample because there isn’t enough fetal DNA. This is more common if you are overweight. With our other NIPT, the Evita test, your weight does not affect the result.
If the test doesn’t provide any results for the conditions screened, you only pay for the consultation and scan. We’ll refund the test fee to your account, minus DKK 1,000. If you receive results for some conditions but not all, you pay for the full test. Please note that test results can, in rare cases, be false negative – meaning the test indicates a healthy baby when that’s not the case. For the Panorama test, however, the false negative rate is only 0.1%.
We also offer to send you a test kit abroad. The only requirement is that you’ve had an early pregnancy scan so we can confirm that you’re at least 9+0 weeks. You’ll also need a healthcare professional to draw the blood sample.
