Who are we

Ultralydklinikken for Gravide is Denmark's first privately owned ultrasound clinic. The Clinic opened in year 2000. Anyone can make an appointment for a scan without a medical referral.

We started year 2008 by opening a new clinic i Hillerød. Ultralydklinikken for Gravide has bought Almaklinikken and we will continue to use the facilities at Slangerupgade 16D. We have bought a brand new ultrasound scanner of the same quality as the one we use in our Copenhagen clinic. We also share the same phonenumber for booking an appointment.

Ultralydklinikken for Gravide offer ultrasound scans of your foetus at a very high level of expertise. The scans are performed by either doctors or midwives with great experience in foetal diagnostics in any week of the pregnancy. It is our goal to not only give you a scan at a very high level of expertise, but also to provide you and your family with an unforgettable experience and fantastic picture to take home with you.

All doctors working at the clinic have many years of training and experience in ultrasound scanning pregnant women. They have taken several courses in Denmark and abroad to maintain a very high standard in their work.

All our staff works in the hospitals around the country. This keeps us all on the edge and we treat all kinds of patients and pregnancies

It's very important to know what the foetus should look like and be doing in all weeks of the pregnancy. Just like doctors test the small infant in the months after the birth to see if it can roll over, crawl and so on it is the same when evaluating the foetus in the uterus week by week. This required great experience and on-going education.

Lillian Skibsted, consultant, ph.d.
Specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics

Lillian Skibsted has written her phd in how to measure the foetus' growth in the uterus by using ultrasound scans and how to evaluate the foetus' wellbeing using doppler.
Lillian Skibsted has for the past 15 years specialised in diagnosing diseases in the foetus. She has also taken the "Diploma of Foetal Medicine" from Foetal Medicine Foundation in London.
Lillian has great experience in performing 3D/4D scans.

All scans after 10 weeks of pregnancy will be recorded onto a DVD.
Pictures will be printed from the machine for all scans.
You have your own LCD screen to look at during the scan, so you can easily see the examination.
You are very welcome to bring friends, family and children along for the scans.
